To use the Glovo app for delivery, you need to schedule and book your slots for the week.
You can schedule your hours twice a week:
- on Monday you can book hours for the weekend
- on Thursday you can book hours for the beginning of the following week.
Before you can start to use the app, you will need to book your time slots in your calendar. Once you check into your slot, you are ready to receive orders.
There are 5 tips to make sure you get orders:
Checking in 25 minutes prior. The Courier App will remind you to check-in 25 minutes before the chosen slots starts. This way you let the system know that you are available during the hours you have scheduled.
Moving to active areas. If you move to the active areas of your city before starting your slot, you will probably increase your chances of receiving an order
Batteries fully charged. Make sure your batteries are fully charged when you connect to your slot. Remember that if your battery is below 20%, you might not be able to connect due to security reasons.
Having auto assignments on. If you keep the AA button active, you’ll be offered with orders more easily. This helps you get orders faster. If you take a break, don’t forget that you can deactive it.
Delivering with a smile. Customers will be more likely to give a postive rating if you encounter them with a smile.
