The soft and deeply encouraging melodies fill the air as the MC band sings the perfectly harmonious Gospel songs at DC Umoja as is seen on their YouTube channel.
The piano player is none other than the mild mannered always joyful James Walker which is his stage name. At Glovo we know him as James Nasoro Munya.
James, a Glovo courier has collaborated with Glovo as of 2018. He appreciates collaborating with Glovo due to the flexibility of the platform. This allows him enough time to practice and also perform with the band.
A multi-talented artist, he sings, plays the piano and also the bass guitar. His favorite is the piano. He is also a talented videographer and that is what propelled him to push the YouTube channel for the band.
When Covid hit, it affected the band’s ability to perform live for their fans and also spread their message, however now that the restrictions have eased the band is practicing.
M C Band practices on Wednesdays, at Langata in Rubia Estate at Pastor David’s home from mid morning. The band welcomes and and all to watch the band practice for free and share their feedback, comments etc
