Exciting news! We want to tell you all about our recent safety event held at our Island and Mainland offices. We had some special guests from NEM Insurance, ARK Insurance, and Emergency Response Africa join us.
Why did we have this event? Well, we noticed there have been quite a few accidents involving couriers lately, so we organized this event to talk about how we can keep everyone safe.
As you already know, we recently partnered with Emergency Response Africa in case any courier has an accident, they will get to you first. At the event we also showed couriers how to use the SOS feature on the Glovo App, which connects you to ERA via the toll free number.
NEM Insurance talked about signing up for their health plan. For just N2000, you can get access to healthcare in over 1000 hospitals across Nigeria.
ARK Insurance explained how the Glovo accident insurance works and everyone was told what exactly the policy covers.
We had a good time at the event, with over 80 couriers showing up, with refreshments and first aid kits given out. 63 couriers were able to sign up for the NEM health plan,
Glovo is committed to keeping all couriers safe, and events like these help us all learn and stay safe together.
