Did you know that there’s a COVID fund that caters to Glovo couriers who have contracted the COVID virus while collaborating with Glovo?

The fund assists couriers to take care of their expenses during the mandatory quarantine period.

 

Glovo strives to create a safe space for couriers. Given the current developments of COVID-19, we have adjusted our terms and conditions to safeguard the financial support. Couriers that have been diagnosed with COVID-19 can apply for this fund until 30 days after they were diagnosed. If requirements are met, they will receive a fixed amount depending on the country in which they are delivering. Requirements include: 

– Applications for couriers diagnosed with COVID-19 are open for up to 30 days after diagnosis.

– Multiple applications will not be accepted

– Form must be filled in completely

– Attached forms require a certificate. Self-testing is not valid

This COVID fund is a one-time payment, meaning that couriers cannot apply for the fund more than once. The form has to be fully completed and all the documents attached need to be certificated. 

Let us continue to be vigilant and ensure that we keep sanitizing and stay masked when in public spaces.

Vaccination is also important as it helps to minimize the severity of the COVID symptoms and also reduce the risk of contraction of the COVID virus and its variants.
