The delivering stories day was filled with fun and laughter for those in attendance. The event was held on 20th May at the Glover center in Nairobi and the Glovo office in Mombasa. The beauty of the whole event is that couriers were able to interact and get to know each other. Nairobi, Kitengela, Thika, Ngong-Rongai-Karen and Mombasa couriers were able to interact with each other.
A number of couriers won amazing prizes such as supermarket vouchers worth kes 5000 each after being nominated and voted for by their peers. Please see the winners of the various categories as voted by you:

Couriers with the best customer ratings in each of the cities also happened to win either a shopping voucher worth kes 2000 or a safety gear voucher worth kes 3000. There was a raffle section also at the end of the session where 4 lucky winners won supermarket vouchers worth kes 2000.
There was an informative session with Bernice who is one of our female cyclists, sharing her story and Hamisi – Glover Specialist from Mombasa also sharing his story of how he started as a chef and transitioned to Glovo courier and is now a Glover specialist. There were also speeches from the respective winners.
There was a very informative Q&A session with the country GM where she answered some difficult questions from the couriers present
All those in attendance were able to exchange ideas and also best practices in a fun and informative way.
At the end of the day, the challenge was set, couriers need to get to know and understand each other and also have a sense of togetherness. Those in attendance appreciated the efforts by Glovo and requested for more events like these.
